background designs (aka skins). Completely interchangeable,
so if you get tired of one look you can simply
change to another quick and easily.
ICQ Messenger (I
seek you) - is simply a clever way of getting
in touch with people. A popular online instant-messaging
program that has amassed over 120 million users
in more than 245 countries since its launch
in November 1996. Bypass crammed email inboxes
to get quick answers. ICQ gives you the ability
to send messages to wireless pagers. Messages
are sent from ICQ to your friend's pager through
the Email provider gateway given by the pager's
service provider. Allows you to communicate
with friends, colleagues and people with similar
interests in real time. Chat, send emails, SMS
and wireless-pager messages, as well as transfer
files and URLs. ICQphone incorporates IP telephony
functions enabling you to engage in PC-to-PC
and PC-to-phone calls. Used in multiple-user
mode, groups can conduct conferences or play
games with ICQ. In fact, ICQ supports a variety
of popular Internet applications and serves
as a Universal Platform from which you can launch

Download a free ICQ

(Note - ICQ Lite version does not support
skins)

Then download the free ICQ
Plus. It comes with three pre-installed
skins (interface designs) as well as the tools
necessary for you to create your own skins.
ICQ Plus supports BMP, JPEG, and GIF images,
too, in case you want to include images in
your custom skins. And it's easy to import
and export skins in ZIP files once you build
them.

Add the adorable Persian covers above to your
collection by downloading them at Themes
Unlimited -
On the center purple "Download" bar,
click "ICQ Skins". On your
left, the second drop down menu click
"Animals", third drop down
menu click "Cats/Kittens ICQ Skins Pink"
or "Cats/Kittens ICQ Skins Gold".
Then click the link, "Download From
Themes Unlimited", and click the image
to download.
1. Download the ".zip" file containing
your new skin into any folder you wish.
2. Open ICQ Plus (Go to ICQ main menu - bottom
left corner - and click on "Plus").
3. Select "Import" and browse to the
folder with the ".zip" file.
4. Open the file - you should now see a preview
of the new skin.
5. Click "Apply" and all the files
for the new skin will be copied into a new folder
within the "C:\Program Files\ICQ Plus\Skins"
directory and your ICQ display will change to
show the new skin.
