(First , sorry for my bad English)
I began working with chocolate and lilac thanks to Chrystèle Bourely (Chocoland cattery). I bred only pewters (silver shaded with copper eyes) in black and blue color. I made contact with Chrystèle for a new addition to my Pewter breeding for creating chocolate Pewter and lilac Pewter , she said to me she has a nice male for me: Sweetmagic's Ghost who is lilac self and very affectionate . So we went to Montpellier (south of France) and Ghost is entered in our home , he is so affectionate , loving and nice we decided to breed this color so beautifull.

We bought one chocolate Exotic from Switzerland and one lilac/white Persian from Suzelle cattery, with a blue/white persian female carrier chocolate. At the end of this year we will import a new male chocolate/white Persian from Karina's cattery and coming in September is our new female Persian from Madrilène cattery. A real princess who is a chocolate van (Betty Bop de la Madrilène).

We keep now the pewters breeding in stand by and our goal is now to breed chocolate van or lilac van and have asked many explanations to my friend who is a breeder for bicolor and van pattern. In Europa , we have three patterns: bicolor, arlequin and van. Van pattern is only colored on head and tail , arlequin is colored for head ,tail and 3 spots, bicolor is white for 33% or 50% .

We intend to breed the European van pattern, head and tail colored and we crossing the fingers, if all is fine. We will see born the first chocolate or lilac European van pattern in 2003!
